I want to copy blu ray movies to my hard drive and watch them. I have anydvd hd to rip the movies but I want the movies only in ISO form so I can watch them on my virtual drive. I need step by step instructions to do this. I though I saw that you could use clone dvd to make iso but I need help. Thanks!!!

Try BD Rebuilder. Yes, you need AnyDVD in the background. BD Rebuilder is essentially DVD Rebuilder for Bluray

I do not want to shrink the blu ray. All I want is the movie with no extras.

You could run the ripped Blu-ray through ImgBurn to create a ~40GB ISO of the whole BD. Or you could use tsMuxeR to select only the main movie and the preferred audio track. That would give you about a 20GB - 30GB file (Depending on the run time) and you could convert that to a ISO. The file would likely be a .m2ts file in a ISO container. I hope you have a lot of hard drive space.

You can do a main movie only rip with BD Rebuilder. Most will fit under the 23 GB BD limit. Again, you are looking at very large files. According the Slysoft's site, CloneDVD only does DVDs (which is why it isn't called CloneBD, I guess)

I'm new here, so forgive me if I'm lacking in knowledge. But wouldn't it be better if you ripped the Blu Ray to your HDD and coded it to a format were it keeps all its High Def quality as well as HD audio? And believe me, size does matter. I have 8 TB and I have half of that filled up with ripped and unencoded Blu Rays.

But that's just a suggestion though. PTI

In the BDMV>STREAMS folder, I select the largest .m2ts file as it's usually the main movie. You can play it with VLC or MPC-HC to check. Some main movies are split into two or sometimes more .m2ts files, so it's a good idea to check.

I usually select the TRUE-HD audio. You can also choose to convert that to regular AC3 in the checkbox shown. I uncheck or remove all the other files so just the main video and audio remain. If the video is on more than one .m2ts, you can append them together. Make sure you check their order as they may not be sequentially listed. Finally, 'Start muxing'.
