Double Subtitles

Hi all,

I have an AVI with SRT subtitles which I wish to convert to DVD with selectable subtitles (not hardcoded).

The problem is that I have both the selectable and the hardcoded at the moment.

Here is my procedure at the moment:

1. Point ffmpegx to my AVI.
2. Set target format to DVD
3. Point ffmpegx to my srt.
4. Encode using quicktime enabled.

Anything ele I should do to remove the hardcoded subtitles?

The hardcoded subs come from Perian's influence on QuickTime decoding. You may de-activate Perian's subtitles (temporarily) in System Preferences > Perian.
