Previous version of SVCD2DVD worked fine on my Vista machine. I noticed the newer version so I uninstalled the old & installed the new. Prog. installed fine-I went into the folder and chose to run as admin and I got the message: SVCD2DVD has stopped working-Please wait while windows searches for a solution. Any advise?
My system: 4gb ram/amd2 6000/ms vista 32/. Thanks

I am having the same problems, I have downloaded the latest version ov SVCD2DVD for a clean install on both a Vista 32 bit and Vista 64 bit systems. On both systems the demo version works fine but the registered version crashes. Both passes complete almost at once, windows gives a ffmepg.exe has stopped working and the progress bar continues to scroll actross the bottom of the application. The output contains 0 bytes. any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

A little more information, I found my backup version and tried it. The old 2.5 version of works fine so the problem seems to be with the latest version

Let me reinstall the new version, I had several files to process so once I got it working with the old version I just used it. I would like to understand the problem though. Please give me a little time to generate the logs.
Thanks,

reloaded recent registered version and just gets registration but fails to star any ideas?.
got it sorted by installing away fromc:/ prgramme files, as read elsewhere in forum
