    Dear friends.
    Season's greetings and a happy X-mas to you.

    I am using an Hauppauge PVR 500 card which works in the WinXP MCE.

    Can anyone please guide me as to how to change the channel names in MCE? They are just numbers and its so confusing. Also, is there a recording scheduler in MCE, where you can view (and edit) scheduled recordings?

    We dont have an EPG in my region.

    If you dont have an EPG in your region the your pettey much SOL.
    Your best beat is to look at SageTV or GB-PVR

    is there no way to change the channel names? they are named as 'Unknown' followed by a long string of numbers and its so confusing when scheduling recordings. thanks for help.
