    I recently purchased a NOS etec 2658 dvd player online because I'd heard that they're easily hackable. My hope is to make it non-regional, but the two mentioned hacks on this site (which is more than anywhere else) aren't working.

    Could someone out there please rock my world by helping me out?

    I can't find any information of that model number and I've never heard of that brand.

    With that said, not all players can be hacked and it isn't uncommon for new models of existing players to be locked to prevent hacking.
