    Hello again,

Seems that the more movies I buy the more copy protections I seem to encounter!

So, here goes...I just bought Space Chimps (my kids have not even had it in their DVD player yet! LOL!), and it has some interesting copy protection moded into it.

I started by trying AnyDVD 6.4.9.1, but that errors out in the fourth VTS file. I then tried using AnyDVD to rip the image to disc but it said there was some sort of copy protection.

So I tried DVD-D********, but that froze at 90%.

Tried DVDFab, no luck there either, gave me some sort of message that to try to do it it needed to do some weird Path thing...I have no idea...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    HmNtr

Wait till the next AnyDVD update. The same thing happened to me on "The Dark Knight" last week.

I had no problems with DK using 6.4.9.0, just seems like the Disney movies and such have been getting tuffer and tuffer to crack...

[edit] Ok, looks like they are being rather inventive on their way of trying to copy protect a disc...under the rim label of the DVD, I found a little lock / magnet looking thing!

Oh tricky...no wonder it would not copy, not only are they starting to use RCE, DRM, and all the other wonderful copy protections but now they are going to make people start peeling labels off their DVDs to back them up!

Anyone have any ideas about that one?

I gave my kids the DVD to use the original, I said screw it...if it dies on them, then what ever...I hate giving my kids the original DVDs...ah well...
