Do SSD's need defragging? I would assume they don't. If so, what will happen to software companies like Diskeeper, Raxco, etc?
No they do not. For NAND based SSD's it's is recommended you do not defrag, because you may shorten the lifespan (limited re-writes)
SSD's won't have large market penetration for a few years still, simply due to cost/GB
But I wouldn't invest in any Raxco or Diskeeper stock
