Well I'm converting some of my blu-ray movies so I can watch them on my ipod. The first conversion went fine. I used automated 2 pass with an 1100 bitrate and I got a file size of about 1.1gb.
Now I went to convert a second movie and I noticed that it was enoding much slower, 14 fps before where now it was at around 7 fps. The resulting file was 6.5gb.
The blu-ray movie files I'm using are 20gb although I don't think that should matter as I'm giving it a bitrate of 1100. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
