I have a few flash (.flv) clips with NO audio (which is correct since they are all stream recording using "Replay Media Catcher" which MPC has no problem playing, however those clips are playing way too fast, is there a way to correct/repair them?

    1) With VirtualDub, I can convert normal .flv clips (which are playing in NORMAL speed), however these flv clips which are playing too fast crashers VirtualDub every time I load them.

    2) I can also convert these clips using WinFF to avi, however the results are still the same, playing TOO fast!

What else can I try? I don't need audio (since the original clips don't have them anyway), but if I need to encode these clips with audio in order for them to play "normally", then I will do it, but how?

    Thanks.

Have you tried set the frame rate manually in WinFF? Click on the options buttons and set the Frame rate and then convert and see how it works. You can use mediainfo to identify the source frame rate in the flv if you don't know it or just try different frame rates.

Lol, I just tried the impossible by using Avidemux and it fixes them all in record time (almost instantly) . I just selected "Build VBR Time Map" under Audio, then save and the results are identical file sizes in .avi and they all play perfectly , must be my lucky day!

Thanks Baldrick, I will also give that a try and if it works then I'll have more options in the future.

    Best regards.

avidemux is the best! but it doesn't support flv with h264 and aac yet and I thought you first had one of those.
