authoring dvd using a group of vob files

i have converted some av1 files in convertxtodvd. i have converted each av1 seperately on my own reason. now i want to author a dvd with this group of vob files. i used to make dvds with dvdlab pro v 2,50. but it shows some problem. sometimes some files are not accepted by it saying that this is not a 11172-2 or 13818-2 file. so i want to get accustomed to another authoring programme which allow me to author with vob files without re-encoding encoding the video and allowing me to make a menu of my own. thanks.

Tmpgenc Dvd Author is one such program that can work directly with vobs.

However if another program that can import vobs has issues perhaps the files were encoded improperly?

Anyhow tda comes with a free trial so you can see if it will take your vobs.

I am afraid that if DVD Lab has an issue with the file, than the file is not DVD compliant and you will have problem later on with playing.

It's time to re-encode your source files, this time to DVD compliant elementary streams, THEN author in DVDLab.
Don't encode directly to .vobs DVDLab will prompt you to demux them anyhow, which takes time.
You can go around the issue by forcing the videos through tmpgenc dvd author (maybe), but the DVD may not play.
