    hiya,

    all i want is to copy straight off mini dv cassette to dvd, no authoring or anything . is there a quick way of doing it
    without spending a month in front of my pc..

    This is a problem with the "On Demand" generation.

    ellabs, after six years on this board, you've contributed absolutely zero to this community. Have you learned nothing from your time here. You should be in the"Old Timers" club, yet you always come off as a n00b.

    As suggested, you need a standalone recorder, but I bet that's not what you want. I'm sure that you want to edit your clip(s). You probably could have spent less time editing and converting than waiting for a reply (at least the last one).

    Judging by all sixteen of your posts in six ears, you should hire someone to do it for you, as you always have problems with every program that you use.

    I don't expect a reply, since you also NEVER give feedback on whether the advice helped or not.
