    Yeah, he doesn't sound like a John. Most of the guys I've talked to lately named John were from India or Pakistan. He doesn't sound like he's from either.

    It's some kind of strategy to make you think that you are dealing with somebody "familiar".
    I've dealt with a few Chinese companies before and almost all of their representatives had American names. Those that I still remember: Shelly, Tiffanny, Lucy, a few Johns and a Marshall.
