    Can you recommend a decent, free-for-commercial-use video player for a web site?

    JW Player is one. But as a web developer, I would find a video hosting site and then embed the video in your website. Saves bandwidth and a lot of work trying to tweek the player. Vimeo would be my first choice for that but there are many others.
