Sorry that this has nothing to do with video, but I need some help and the people here seem to be very knowledgeable concerning the various facets of the internet.

How do I find (or can you just tell me) who the [address removed] email address is registered to? Long story short....it has to do with hate mail and harassment.

I would greatly appreciate your help.

Because of privacy issues, you would have to get a court order to find that out. With these easy web mail accounts, any search will simply pull up the originator (in this case, Yahoo).

You could look up the header info of the email too, but it willprobably only lead you back to Yahoo.

Thanks for your quick reply. I was afraid that the cowardly individual who is behind these emails could not be traced.

  5. Probably best to ignore it, keep records and wait until the individual gives up. I edited your post as it is not a good idea to publish the address, even in a closed forum. I hope you find a solution.

    Save all the e-mails.
If you fell that it could be considered as slander or if you feel threatened in some way, you should certainly contact the Police or you solicitor.
Don't try to solve it on you own. You could do something that you later will regret or something that you might be charged for by your antagonist.
    Good luck.
