Does anyone know if the 2008 movie JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH
has a new type of protection scheme?. So far, it has resisted all backup attempts
with the newest versions of DVD Decrypter, DVD Fab, RipIt4Me, etc. Same is true
    of the movie TIGERLAND.

My machine: HP Pavillion 754n, Pentium 4, 2.57 Mhz.
    Operating System: Windows XP, SP2
    DVD Burner: LiteOn DH20A4P

Patience. Sooner or later, the DVDFab genius will solve the issue. The real question is, why you would desire to backup Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Which Journey to the Center of the Earth? There are 3 of them that were released in 2008.

    Greetings & salutations!,

Hey, FILMBOSS80, the movie is not particularly good, but the technical challenge is something I always look forward to. For instance, if you look at the recorded side of the disk, you can see that there is a flame-like pattern imprinted on the disk itself. This is the first time I see something like that. Regarding TIGERLAND, do you have any input on that one?.

Hey, MRSWLA, you are correct.. there were 3 movies with the same title released in 2008!!. The one I'm talking about is with Greg Evigan and Dedee Pfeiffer.

    Thanks,

My apologies for being so flippant in the earlier post. I, of course, misunderstood completely. I thought you were talking about the Brendan Fraser version of that movie. Indeed, the Greg Evigan version is far superior in every way. Since I have not yet seen TIGERLAND, I am at a loss for wise-ass remarks pertaining to that one.

    Best of luck.

    That version, yes...
I'd install the AnyDVD trial and submit a log file.

If it is a new form, it'll show up in the log file.
After submission, its entire species will be made extinct shortly thereafter by their resident genies.
    It's what they do.
    Cheers!

Thanks to all for the input. I'll keep an eye open for a
    solution to this dilemma.

    Best Regards,
