So I'm on a quest to get HD video from my Mac to my Xbox via Connect360. I have Ffmpegx which seems like the only Mac alternative to GotSent. I'm just having serious trouble with the settings. The problems I've been having with a 1080p trailer are perfect examples.

    1) The framerate is too fast for the audio. (I can't tell if this is the .mp4 im making the .mkv or if it's the .mkv itself because my computer isn't fast enough to really play a huge .mkv well.) I try to lower the framerate but it seems to always come out the same. I even did some math:
A certain trailer has 2:13 of video and 2:30 of audio. The current framerate is obviously too fast. So I multiplied the number of seconds of video, 133, by the current framerate (which i think was 25 fps) to get the number of frames: 3325. I divide 3325 by the actual time the trailer should take, 2:30, to get the correct framerate: 22.167 fps. I put that into ffmpegx and it still doesn't work...

    2) The aspect ratio is all wrong. The encoded video is much too tall. I don't really have much control over this though. I try setting it to 2.35:1 but it's still not wide enough...

If someone could recommend some settings, that would be fantastic.

PS: I downloaded GotSent (even though I knew it wouldn't work) to see what it was made of. It's a lot of the same stuff as ffmpegx, so I think settings that work in GotSent should work in ffmpegx.

    Thanks in advance!
