I had a Sony Hi8 camcorder that I have many movies on from 2000. I'm playing them back, every tape except for one play's at a high speed with some fuzz.
I have tried switching tapes, but it seems only one tape plays at normal speed.
What might this be?
Thanks!

did you record them in ep mode? try switching the camera to that mode, and playing one back.

Maybe the camcorder has worn out or gone bad etc.
In which case you can use something like this: Sony GV-D200
Not exactly cheap though
