I bought just a couple a days, this player, BD-E8500N, and I have a big problem with it.
I have a CI card from UPC cable operator, I receive all the channel that I had pay for it, including hd channels, but I receive no HD channel.
They are not even in the list.
Is there a solution to change the firmware or anything else?
This hardware was bought from finland and in the list of country I have only denmark, norway and sueden. I am from Romania and I use this machine in Romania. This could be the cause for not receiving HD channels? Is is this true, why I can receive all other channels?
There are possible to change the firmware for Romania?

Are you sure it supports dvb hd? I can't find anything that mentions it in the manual. ( Swedish http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201205/20120502111327729/02230E-01-BD-E89...0N-XE-0413.pdf )

On their site, they said that is full compatible with hd cannels.
