  1. So I am trying to "backup" a movie for my kids (Sleeping Beauty). I am using DVD43 and 1-Click DVD Copy. I can rip the DVD fine, but everytime it burns it errors out at 49%. This is a brand new DVD burner. And have tried others on the same computer. Someone said it might be because I tried a bunch of different softwares that the OS is messed up.

Anyone know if this is true, or if there is a tool that can clean up certain files?

    Thanks in advance.

    DVDFabDecrypter
DVDShrink (output the final product as an .ISO Image)
    ImgBurn

If this method fails...you can most likely blame crap DVD blanks you are using.

  3. So it shouldn't matter that I have loaded like Nero and other programs on there and then removed them?? There is no DLL files or anything causing this corruption or leftover files? Because I can burn data dvds fine. it is burning the video ones i have issues with and i have tried 3 different burning programs.

I use the exact same programs as my default rip/burn software and haven't had any problem in over a year.

    -Questions-

What brand of discs are you using ?

Have you recently upgraded or modified 1click and/or DVD43 ?

What burn speed are you using ?

Please provide the brand and model of your burner.

  5. The discs are Philips Lightscribe DVD-R 18X

The burner is a Samsung WriteMaste - SE-S184

I haven't upgraded or modifed DVD43. I actually removed it. I am going to try DVDFab Decrypter and see what happens.

Use better dvd media than PHILIPS. Using quality dvd media will make a difference in terms of burning.

Buy some VERBATIM dvd media from BEST BUY this week since it's on sale for $12.99 for a 50 pack spindle.

As suggested use DVDFAB DECRYPTER to rip the files. It's freeware. Rip the files then use DVDSHRINK & create a ISO image. Then burn with IMGBURN.
