What CD-R is best to use?

I've had some strange trouble making VCD's.. Some brands of CD-R's work and some will not on my Sony DVD player. Is there any suggestions of which brand of CD-R is best for making VCDs? Thanks.

Verbatim or TDK works pretty good. It could be that you Sony player does not like 80min media. Maybe you should try to find some 74Min and see if thats the problem.
