I just switched to Vista x64 from XP Pro 32-bit (actually set-up dual-boot, but want to burn in Vista too).

What software works in Vista 64 to burn a DVD straight from VOB files (Video_TS folder)? This would be for DVD movie backups after ripping with DVD Fab Decrypter and shrinking with DVD Shrink.

In XP I use 'Copy To Dvd' (from VSO Software, but an older 3.1 version) or 'Nero 7 Ultra.' I heard that Nero has lots of compatibility issues running in x86 mode.

    What's my best option?

    Thanks

Will it read & burn from the VIDEO_TS folder, or do I have to make a ISO image of the DVD first?

    Thanks

Build mode. Select the Video_TS folder. Imgburn will work out the rest for you. There is also a full set of simple to follow guides at the imgburn site, found through the Help menu

Cool. thanks a lot, I appreciate it. I love having Vista x64 (8 GB of RAM is unreal), but being able to do the simple tasks that I have in XP for years, is now a challenge, lol. That is more a function of the 64-bit OS obviously, but Vista plays a part as well.

I will report back after some test burns,
    Thanks again.

    Guns1inger,

Thanks, worked like a charm. I like the nice clean interface too. I set-up a second PC as a media server (connected to my 46 LCD TV) , so I may just make some of the movies into images and mount with Daemon Tools. Easier to play that way than digging through TS folders.
