Is there a good place to buy a PC in the UK?
Basically a cheap computer for cheap as possible. I assume there are no Fry's over there or newegg for that matter. 8)

it depends what you mean by good, PcWorld have stores in most towns, they'll sell you a pc but whether it will be any good for what you want it for is another matter. Their staff are not noted for their knowledge of what they sell. Or you could try www.ebuyer.co.uk

Try PCWorld - it's our version of CompUSA/CircuitCity.
Currys is part of the same company as PCWorld so you get similar deals.
Comet is owned by a different company but pretty similar to the above.
If you're buying over the net try Dabs or Overclockers.
I've bought PCs and components in both the US and UK - UK is more expensive.Regards,
