  1. I've burnt several VCD's with Nero without any kind of problem. These VCD's were burnt of MPEG files that I had downloaded from the Internet. I recently downloaded an AVI file (movie), which I converted to an MPEG with TMPGEnc and the file converted successfully (I could play it without any problems with my MediaPlayer). But when I try to burn a VCD (I've tried with both with Nero and Adaptec Easy CD Pro) of this file, I get a message saying that the VCD was burned successfully, but for some reason it won't play in my DVD player (player says "no disc"). Why could this be? Thanks!

  2. Are you sure that your player plays them? Check the compatibility list under vcd.

  3. Yes, my DVD player plays VDC's as well and like I said, I have no problems playing the VCD's that have been made directly from downloaded MPEG's (files that didn't have to be converted with TMPGEnc).

  4. Are you sure you're using the right template when you convert the movie files with TEMPG?
