Problem with Samsung CDDVDW SH-202J

Several times ago, I used Nero 7 for burning my files either as data CD or Video one. But, after several times passed, the software didn't work so that I couldn't burn my files at all. After uninstalling and replacing it with BurnAwareFree Edition, the same case occurs again, even until now. I doubt that my DVD writer (Samsung SH-202J) has a broken writing lens, because it still works after uninstaling and using the latter software (as shown in the hardware info of this program). What has happened to my DVD writer?

We don't have enough information to help. Most burning software will create error logs when a burn fails (Nero has good logs). Aside from that, you should at least be seeing some kind of error or alert.

At this point, you could have an OS issue, a burning application issue, or simply a hardware problem.
