I have about a dozen old DVD projects for which I do not have the original project files in the authoring application. I only have .iso image files for them. Is it possible to write to DLT? I need to add ROM content and have these titles replicated (no longer doing duplication)

What is 'DLT'? If you need to open them VLC and DVD Shrink can both open them. ImgBurn can burn them.

no no, DLT is a tape that you use for sending to get your dvd project replicated. I think it stands for digital linear tape.

I always throw in a Wikipedia link when I use a new term: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Linear_Tape

I see it lists the DLT8000 as a 40 GB drive with a Fast/Wide SCSI-2 interface and a 6MB/S transfer rate, made starting in 1999 and uses a DLT IV tape.

I don't know if it will accept a ISO file, but I don't see why not, it's just data. I suppose it would depend on the program you are using to access it.

Don't know yet...I'm just trying to find out if it's possible to take .iso image files (which of course contain the authored VIDEO_TS folder) and write the data to the DLT to submit as a new master...
