    I have Magix Movie Edit Pro, and it says I can use MP4 format, but it says it can only be importanted with the cooresponding codec. . .What does that mean? Why can't I just import it straight?

    Do you want to import mp4? or export to mp4?

    MP4 is a video container and it can contain a lot of different video and audio formats and magix movie edit pro may not support all them.

    Hi,
    I want to put mp4 video files that I downloaded from youtube. com onto my "magix - movie edit pro 11". Magix claims it cannot read these mp4's. Please tell me what I should do to put these mp4 videos on my movie edit pro 11? Do I need to buy a program to convert the mp4's or can I do it for free??
