I tried GSpot but it gives the mpeg contained bitrate which always shows 10080 kbps. I wish to know the indicidual bitrates of the video and audio tracks. What tool can i use for this?? I need to find the bitrate of an already recorded DVD

The latest g-spot will tell you the header value (often wrong) in the left-hand pane, but it will tell you the true average bitrate on the right-hand side. It will also tell you the audio bitrates in the audio section (bottom left). If you watch it scan through the VOB you will get a feel for the fluctuation of birate because you can watch the numbers as it scans the video.
