  1. i encoded it along with a few others and the picture is good, besides slight blurring, but when i play it in windows media player it reports the one file as only 4:47 mins long!!

it plays in mplayer ok and when the slider stops (at 4:47) the movie carries on so the film is all there, has this happened to anyone else and is it ok to burn?

ps anyone have any tips on preventing such blurring.

    thanks!

  2. Yes this file is fine to burn. This happens to me all the time when i've made a preview of a clip and watched it in media player, then encoded the full movie as the same filename. For some reason media player remembers the length of the original file but the new file is perfectly fine to burn
most ppl say somethin smart or profound here.......... I won't

  3. That't right.

If you were to delete the file and re-encode it, or probably just rename it, it would be OK,

    cheers,
