Can RipIt4Me rip the DVD folder in the hard drive or the DVD disc only? I could not see the hard drive as the source.

No. RipIt4Me doesn't rip anything. It is a front-end to several tools, the main one being DVD Decrypter, which won't rip from a HDD.
My question s is how did you get a CSS encrypted disc to the your HDD in the first place ?
If it isn't encrypted, why do you need to use RipIt4Me ?Read my blog here.

By testing, how good is the RipIt4Me? Can it rip the DVD into the HDD and then use the other tools to copy it to the disc? -
If the DVD is not encrypted then you get no benefit at all from using RipIt4Me, and aren't testing anything.
All you need is DVD Decrypter, Mode->ISO->Read (create an ISO on your HDD), Mode->ISO->Write (Write the ISO to a new disc)
Again, RipIt4Me uses DVD Drcypter to rip, and this will only from a DVD, as will all DVD ripping tools. None of them will rip from a HDD, because you have to rip it from DVD first to get it to the HDD.
I still do not understand what you are trying to do.
Also, RipIt4Me has not been updated in a long time, and will not be updated again. Ever. Copy protection, however, continues to move forward (or backwards, depending on your thinking), so there are more and more discs that RipIt4Me cannot rip correctly, or at all. DVD Fab HD Decrypter or AnyDVD are currently the only ripping tools that are constantly and frequently updated to keep pace.Read my blog here.
