ok, so im trying to this new burner, its an Asus quietrack. used it to burn cds and such, works fine. so i tried making a copy of one of my movies, and well, it came out black and white. im not sure why, and thats why im here. i used nero to burn the dvd, i copied all the files i saw which were in a TSs folder. nero express essentials burned it, i popped it into the dvd player and it was black and white! so i figured maybe it was a bug or something so i did it again, and that dvd was black and white too. whats going on here?

Try making your backup with the freeware ImgBurn, Drop the VIDEO_TS folder in, complete. Or use Read>Write. ImgBurn defaults to a simple GUI, hard to go wrong. No telling what Nero may have done.

    And welcome to our forums.

Is the original a commercial disc ?
Does the original play correctly ?
Does the copy play in colour in your PC ?
What if you burn with Imgburn instead of Nero ?
    Read my blog here.

    wow you guys are fast.

sweet! it worked! i guess nero was messing it up, or maybe i was somehow. you guys kick ass.

as for the other questions, yep, commercial cd, original plays fine on pc and dvd players, the copy would act funny on the pc, it looked green and had a vertical line going through. and it worked with the imgburn. thanks again guys!
