    hi all...
im trying to find a reliable and robust video indexer software! does anyone knows a good one? all ive found was this one: http://www.fastvideoindexer.com/index.htm ( fastvideoindexer ) !! but im having problems with lack of features and bugs of all kinds!

the thing is: ive lots of efx clips, etc. and i want to catalogue it all using a thumbnail / still captures web gallery report! and the only software that does the work is "fastvideoindexer" at least is the only one ive found!!!!
can you please helpme on finding a similar / alternative, but better software! this one is buggy.

    thanks for the support.

here's some samples of reports ive made testing the fastvideoindexer:

  2. I don't know if this is what you have in mind or not. Start playing the video in Media Player Classic and go File->Save Thumbnails. It'll give you something like this:

I got the idea from Baldrick.

    thanks for the reply!
but no, that is just a bunch of real time thumbnail captures! for that job there is some great and fast software...
i want to index all my videos in one web gallery page / database, with that type of captures! the intuite is to be able to search / digg more eficiently thru all the collection!

imagine doing a batch capture index of 100.000+more videos in just one page!

The problem may be your search terms...I've never heard them called "indexers". Try media managers....http://www.tucows.com/software.html?t=689&pf=win

hmm! i also tryed that... but no! no results at all.

actually there is no other software that is symilar to "fastvideoindexer" kinda strange!!!!

there are lots of other types, like: video snapshooters/still captures; movie organizers / managers.
    but none that:
    1º - choose a bunch of movie/video files
2º - takes still captures of all files
3º - generates a detailed report of all captures in a web gallery style

    simple!

.. ive also tryed to do that myself using a web gallery generator + video still capture generator! but.. theres no control over the details, and theres no sequence, etc!
