Hi,
i have a philips 3577H dvd recorder and a prime cablebox(belgium).
i can order movies and series on that cablebox.
when i record a movie from the cablebox to the recorder..
the movie is on the philips harddisk.. but i can't play it because its copyrighted and protected.
there is a copyright icon near the movie in the HDD list. also, i can't copy that movie to dvd.
how can i remove this protection. its unfair! because i payed for the movie. so i want to record him.
i have the last firmware 1.61 on the dvd recorder + he is region free hacked.
pls help me

Howdy,
I don't think the player will play it because if you look at the manual.
It says that it only stores and plays avi files whether copyprotected or not.
Could you please tell me how you got your recorder regional free. Mine
isnt taking the hack that is already on the site.
