Good day to everybody.
I want to pass a movie from PAL to NTSC and I used VirtualDub and its guide at www.johnisme.shawbiz.ca/avi.shtml
A) At Step 1 " If the audio has a low sampling rate of 22khz or 32khz " where and how can we see taht?
B) At Step 2 "made and load that file in " what file and how load it if there is not any button to click to load the file? Where is that button?
Thank you for your help.
Cheers.

A) In Virtualdub open the avi and choose File->File information and you should be able to see the Samling rate.
B) Select Audio->Wav source to load the wav audio in Virtualdub. -
Hi-
A) One way is to open the AVI in Virtual Dub and then go File->File Information. It'll show you the audio sample rate.
B) I don't use Virtual Dub, but it's saying that after clicking the Audio tab at the top you can load the 23.976fps WAV or MP3 file you created in BeSweet.
C) I'm too late. -
I donīt know to pass the STEP 2:
A) "choose video direct stream " - At VIDEO I only see Direct Stream Copy . It is the same?
B) "then goto audio and choose
wav/mp3 audio and browse to where the 23.976 audio wav/mp3 you just
made " --- What is this? At AUDIO the menu only has Interleaving
No audio
Source audio - Stream 1
Audio from other file
Direct stream copy
Full processing mode
Error mode
And now, is it anything I made wrong.
I thank you your help.
Good day. -
I managed with what you suggested me. But it didn't result. Although Besweet has several hipothesis, I think VirtualDub only has 23976 --> 25000 and 25000 --> 23976, and the file has 29970. Will be that the reason of insuccess?
Thanks for your help.

Hi-

Hello.
I'm try to explain better the problem.
I have a movie in AVI ( not DVD ) that runs in the DVD Player ( the sound is good) but the colours are stained, we don't see it clearly, the colours are very confused and corrupted . I change the DVD from NTSC to PAL and the movie get better, perfectly.
So, I wanted to alter by software the passage from NTSC to PAL, to have no need to do this in the Player ( and learn to do that with VirtualDub or other program).
Do you understand now what I want?
Thanks and cheers. -

Load the video into VirtualDub v1.8
Click 'Video' then 'Direct Stream Copy' - because you don't want to re-compress the video.
Under 'Video' select 'Frame Rate' then (in the centre frame of the window) 'Frame rate conversion' 'Convert to FPS:' type 23.976 in the box - 'ok'.
Click 'Audio' then 'Audio from other file' select the new wav file from Besweet.
Check the sync by clicking the first playback button.
If no adjustment is needed, click 'File' 'Save as AVI'. -
Thank you Sambat, but now I have another problem. I create the wave with BESWEET, I save it, in OUTPUT FILE, I click save or save as default but when I go to see that save directory there is no file. When I save the first time, if I do it once more, it answers "That file already exists" but, as I said, it doesn't appear in the directory and, by that, I cannot load posteriorly in VirtualDub. Very stranger, isn't it?
Another thing, how can we know, if a movie is AVI or NTSC?
Thank you and a good sunday to everybody. -
You could do a search for it
I use the BeLight GUI, it's less confusing - the output is the same folder as the input file..
