Ok, please dont give me grief about being stupid,
I have a donwloaded bin movie..
I couldnt get anything to look at it except my vl player..
I wanted to burn it as a dvd.. I converted it to a iso file..
I can burn the iso file on a dvd, but that is what it burns it as...an iso file...which wont play on my dvd player..
Please tell me, how to I get an iso file to become a dvd?
I am afraid I need someone with patience to explain it in detail for me..
Thanks in advance..

Edit: Yep, just burn the bin/cue on cd media instead.

If you started with a BIN file, I have a suspicion that this is actually a VCD that should have been burned to CD-R. Many programs can burn BIN/CUE files. Nero can. Other programs can too. You need to burn to the right media first.
It is possible to convert the BIN file to DVD format, but it will require a ton of work and none of it will be easy. To be blunt, it's one of those things where if you have to ask how to do it, you probably won't be able to do it. Conversion would be incredibly complex for you as a newbie. Just burn it to CD-R (use CD-RW if you don't want to risk wasting a disc) and see if that plays. -
jman98's correct. BIN/CUE files are normally used for CDs, sometimes SVCDs, but not DVDs. BIN/CUE is a container for the video or whatever is inside. So is a ISO. So you have effectively put a video in a BIN/CUE container into a second ISO container. That won't work.
Check the size of the file. If it's about 700MB, then use the original BIN/CUE, select the CUE in ImgBurn and burn to CD. If it's bigger than 700MB, closer to 4GB, then it's a DVD that doesn't belong in a BIN/CUE.
If you don't have the original BIN/CUE, you may be able to extract it back from the ISO with 7zip ( http://www.7-zip.org/ ) or other extraction tools, like ISOBuster. If it's a VCD, which seems likely, they normally use two CDs and two BIN/CUE files to burn. A single VCD doesn't hold that much.It wouldn't surprise me if it's in KVCD format as they can squeeze a little more onto the disc.
If you really wanted to convert a VCD to a DVD, you could probably use SVCD2DVD, but it would be a waste of time and only make it look worse. VCDs should play back on most DVD players without any conversions. -
If the iso file is larger than 700MB, then it is a DVD iso file.
Open nero burning rom, select DVD, then DVD-ROM(ISO), then drag the iso file into the work pane, and select burn image, and ..... -

Somehow it didnt seem right to put a movie on a cd..but you are right!
