Just bought a new system and for various reasons I going with Vista 64 bit. Video editing is not my mian thing but I do quite a bit of it. At the moment I have licences for the following programs and I was wondering if any are currently compatible with Vista 64 bit.
- Solveig Video Splitter Version 1.2.705.05
- Womble Video Wizard DVD
- Ulead Video Studio 9 (but will have to update to 11 or whatever is the latest version)
- Briz video joiner
I know Sony Vegas is compatible with Vista 64 but don't much want to move to it, and will go instead to Adobe Premiere Pro or Elements if I have to.

You can look here for Vista compatibility of some programs: http://www.iexbeta.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_Vista_Software_Compatibility_List
But V64 compatibility is a bit harder. Some programs may work in V32 mode and you might be able to run some in XP SP2 compatibility mode. I think you may have more problems with the joiner and splitter programs unless they are recent versions. I use V32, so I can't give any specific V64 info.
