ok, i tried making my own vcd, i've read the articles on this site. I looked at the chart that see's what its compatible with, and i found out that my dvd player doesn't support CDR. well i've bought CDRW and burned it on, but it is still saying no Disc. what am i doing wrong?

Check this: <http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDnameid=223&Search=Search&#commen ts> for reports of your player. People say it's a problem with the brand of CD you use.

I could be wrong but I've always heard that if a player can't play cd-r then it shouldn't be able to play cd-rw.Check your owners manual the chart on dvd compatiability says at the bottom of the screen that not all info is correct people make mistakes .Good luck hope this helps.
