I have an .avi file that was encoded in 5.1 DTS audio. I have codecs on my computer that supports DTS as well. I can play this .avi with any player on my computer and I have DTS sound. My sound card supports DTS. When using Media Player Classic, clicking on the audio options even shows the playback in 6 channel DTS. However, when I convert this (or any other DTS encoded .avi) file, this program converts the audio to 2 channel stereo.
How do I correct this, or can I?
Thanks.

I believe under settings there is a choice to not convert the audio. You might try that, I don't know what your result would be. ChrissyBoy could probably answer for sure.

It's "Keep source audio always."

I do have that option checked. It's also my default.
Thanks for trying! -
Post your log from a DTS conversion so we can have a look.

Ok, I just ran another conversion and here is the log. Still now 5.1 or DTS on the output.
