So I've passed through a number of MKV files with no problem, but I have a few that have subtitles, and the pass through option is grayed out. So I tried turning off the subtitle option in perian, and in quicktime, but still they appear in the movie. Any idea of how I might be able to pass through these files?

ok for people who might have the same problem , -just go into quicktime movie properties, and unselect the subtitle tracks- and you can pass through.
