Trying to figure out of a Susuki S40 would haul my 200lbs butt around or be stupidly slow.
The price is right though... 8)

It should be fine. I wouldnt really worry about it too much. There *may* be a slight hesitation during take off, but once she gets going, it'll be ok.

S50 - 800cc V-Twin. Comparing to an in-line 4 it'll have less power but more torque.
Not a load of power but will do fine (it'll still do 100mph +). If this is your first bike then it's almost perfect - if you stay with the sport you'll want to upgrade in a couple of years.
I'm riding a Suzuki TL-1000 and it's my first twin. It would be too big if it were my first bike but I really am enjoying the torque. -
I've got nothing against motorcycles but would never consider riding where I live, chances of you getting in an accident no matter what you are driving is very real. Too many idiots on the road and I don't want to be on a motorcycle if/when it happens. Even an accident that would be relatively minor if you were in car could be life changing if your on a bike. If I lived in a state with open country road for hundreds of miles in all directions it would be a different story.

There's about 2 or 3 accidents a year at this intersection but the only thing that will fix it is cutting down 100 year old tress which is not going to happen. They have shade tree commission and you need to get permission even if its on your property and they don't grant permission unless the damn tree is going to fall down It's not so bad at night but in the daytime it's a nightmare. There's a lot of country roads around here but they are winding country roads , great for a motorcycle drive except you have a lot of blind corners with intersections, driveways and they are quite narrow with no where to go but the ditch if you have to avoid something. Then theirs the damn deer, my uncle hit three in two years but he lives in rural area. Just too many things that can happen in this area to drive one.

It's a major route and there is multiple streets like mine that intersect the same road so stop signs, lights or speed bumps are not an option. I have seen mirrors on the real bad ones but they aren't exactly the best option either... Following the traffic rules only helps if you can see whats coming.
Here's link to intersection: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=west+pittston&ie=UTF8&ll=41.329212,-7...02511&t=h&z=19
Doesn't look bad but those trees you see all probably about 100 feet high. The trunks are massive and they are right next to the street on the tree lawn.
