  1. It tried using the Sony CD-RW but they are still not reading on the DVP-S300. It does play commerical VCDs.

Any ideas on what to try ? Maybe a setting in CD Creator ?

    Thanks

  2. I have a DVP-S300 and have not had any luck with CD-RW. I do not think the player will recognise them.

I haven't had any problems with CD-R's, and have tried several brands and even unbranded. All worked fine.

Try Mr. Write 4X CD-RW. It works on most very picky DVD players. I have tried several CD-RWs including Pinco CD-RW in mine and my friend's pciky players and Mr. Write is the only one that works 100%. Hope it works on yours.

  5. I friend of mine has told me, that all CD-RW's with a black/grey background (the side where the data is written) will work on Sony DVD players.

    Hope that helps you.

    I had a Sony DVP525D (changed to a Samsung 611 cause it did'nt play CD-R or MP3s)

I had no problemes with any CD-RW, tried
Vertaim, TDK, BASF (f***ed up after 5th reburn, porr quality) and all the VCDs looked fine until you have burn on them like 30 times, then even TDK started to look weird.
