MMC 7.5 and ATI TV Wonder - yes you can do SVCD

Ok let me clarify I do not own a TV Wonder PCI but I get a lot of email asking me SVCD specific questions about it. ATI has told several users that they could not capture to SVCD but I was working with someone and it seemed that he should be able to do it .... after a few emails back and forth he told me that it worked. All you need is MMC 7.5, TMPGEnc and my reg tool.

I can't remember all the people who have asked me about this in the last few months so I hope they see this post.

I've finally gotten MMC 7.5 to install. But it still only works in video in. I can't get TV Mode. I've done everything all of the posts have recommended. I'm running a Dell 4300, windows XP, Rage 128 card, ATI TV Wonder VE. The only thing I can figure is that the there must be some difference between the ATI wxp_r128_6_13_3279 Rage Driver and Dell's 6.13.3279.0 Rage driver. The ATI Rage driver (on their website) will not install. I get a error message that says the drivers are not compatible with the Rage 128. I go to Dell's website and the driver loads fine. Both sets of drivers have the same release number.

The Dell drivers load to C:\Dell\Drivers\3G153\. Then to Windows\System32.

Any help would be appreciated.
