    I have a Maddog Megastor 16X Double layer DVDRW External drive. I was burning dvds fine up until 2 days ago. Now I get a burn failed everytime I try to burn a dvd. I've tried using different burning software but nothing works. I've used 2 different types of media, Maxell and Memorex. I'm trying to burn a single layer dvd.

    Can someone help me with this problem?

    MEMOREX & MAXELL are crappy media to use, they're manufactured by either RITEK or CMC. Try using some VERBATIM dvd media and burn with IMGBURN.
