See the output file encoded with CCE:

As you can see, there is a lot of Left/Right margins... how can I remove it?

Another movie I encoded got the same problem, but the margins was a bit smaller.

    CCE version: SP v2.70.02.12

Do use CCE's For DVD settings to resize for you. If your source is avi, use FitCD to create a basic avisynth script to resize the file to DVD compliant resolution, then load this into CCE instead. Untick "For DVD" and encode.

I have just read this guide. Since my source movie aspect ratio is 2.4, I added in the script the lines below (according to the guide):

    LanczosResize(720,356)
    AddBorders(0,62,0,62)

If I had found the guide above before, I wouldn't post this topic. When I posted it I used the .avi file directly in CCE.

FitCD looks like a nice program, I will try it.
