he mentined a way to unblock my dvd recorder..lg rh177 hdd/dvd
the codes on here dont work an he mentions going to website an using a cd to do it,but the link no longer works
can any one help at all ? :?

Covered already in another section of the forum. If you know the original post, you can click on his name and send him an email (if he has it set up) or PM.

As I noted before, it's not uncommon for new versions of an existing player to be locked prevent hack codes from working.

It is fairly obvious but ANY changes you make to your DVD recorder is totally your own responsibility.

The RH1000 CDCODEFREE update seemed to work for my RH177 but if you want to try it, it is obvious totally up to you.

If you wish to do so then all the info you need is on the gremlins forum posted above.
