I had a new Pioneer stereo for the car fitted as a christmas present. It has a USB port for various devices. Thumb drives, Ipod's, Zens, and other portable music players.
However, it wont play anything off the Maxtor. It won't play because there is not enough power. I am trying to find out if there is anybody else out there who has managed to connect the Maxtor listed above to any car stereo.
Because the Maxtor has two USB cables for power usage, i was hoping that one USB cable could be connected to the stereo, with the other power USB cable connected to some kind of adaptor that connects through the cigarette lighter.
Thx for any help on this matter.
