I have tried your trial version and have the following questions before I purchase. My main requirement
is to convert PAL DVDs, made on a Sony DVD VIDICAM, to NTSC so they can be played on any US DVD player :-

    1) I could not move VOB files into "Assets" and had to download another converter program first.
Is this only because it is a "trial version"?

    2) I could not burn a trial DVD? I had to create an "ISO" and use another burning utility.
Is this only because it is a "trial version"?

    3) The trial DVD played very well on an NTSC DVD player with one exception - Horizontal image movements
produced a form of image ragging that looked like an interlace problem. What did I do wrong?

This site is not a developer of software.

If you wish assistance from the folks who visit this site, you will have to identify what software you are having problems with.

jeffmarlow - As you probably have figured out, we have no idea what you are talking about. It would seem that you are completely wrong in wanting to post to this website about whatever you are using.

Do you know that many, but not all, DVD players sold in the USA are actually capable of converting PAL DVDs to NTSC video output? Such conversions are very time consuming. If you are doing this for a family member or friend who is going to have an ongoing need for this, I would suggest instead that you buy them a DVD player capable of converting PAL video to NTSC and not convert the DVDs and just get on with your life. There are a lot of cheap players (Philips, Cyberhome, LG and many many others) that can do this and if you have an ongoing need for one person to see these DVDs, I'd say just spend the money to buy them a new DVD player and skip the conversion part. Then again, I have noticed that some people consider their spare time to be absolutely worthless and would honestly rather spend hours every week doing DVD conversions for the rest of their lives than spend $40-50 ONCE to buy a converting DVD player for someone. If you are one of those people, then I hope you find the right place to get help with whatever you are using.
