Hi Everyone,
I'm wondering if any TV hardware exists which can help me. I work in the computer games industry, producing console games which are displayed on TVs. I need to capture still images from the TV (or video, but still images are enough), whenver we see a bug in the game. Capturing TV images isn't easy, and seems to either require a PC constantly hooked up capturing whenever we test the game, or it has to be done manually via a digital camera - which produces poor quality images, with flicker and shine etc.
Is there a TV which has a built-in capture facilty, and can write screen captures to a memory card or similar? This seems technically very possible, but I've never heard of such a thing. Does anyone know if it exists?
thanks
Mark

Why not just route the video through a DVR (or old school and use a VCR)? You can also get one with a DVD Recorder, then edit out the unwanted video and burn the needed video on a DVD.
