I have downloaded DVBPortal, WMV Muxer/Encoder - Version 1.0 - Final Release

when I import an avisynth file into the video and audio boxes and then
select the profile wvc1 cbr 6.5mbs 720.prx selected, when I try to edit this preset to push the bitrate up a smidge
nothing happens at all,
im confused a friend of mine is having the same problem although it he is able to edit the preset on his desktop but not his laptop and it was the same download.

anyideas fellas?

"profiles.txt" says:

If you can't find an appropriate profile, add one of your
own by using the Windows Media Profile Editor from the Windows Media Encoder pack.
