  1. Ok, I am new here, but I was interesting how to convert DVD to HD DVD and how to burn on DVD-R or DVD+R. I was working with Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6, and make ISO file, but I can not open the image file. Does anyone knows something?

Why would you convert a DVD to HD DVD, then burn it to a DVD ?

If your ISO is a true DVD iso, Imgburn will happily burn it for you.

  3. I got my wedding on DVD, and I want to see it on HD DVD. I hear that can be placed about 40min of HD DVD format on normal DVD-R. Is that true?

No matter, it will never look any better than it does on the original DVD.
The best you can do is to play it on a HDTV, with upscaling (player or TV)

I'm not sure about the quantity but yes you can but high def on dvds but only if the player can play it back. Are you saying you shot it on a high def camcorder or standard def? Which way do you really want to go?

If you are talking about taking a 720x480 video and upconverting to 720p or 1080p than that is really a waste of time. As mentioned already you are much better off using an upconverting dvd player and have it do the processing in real time with nothing happening to the original source.

Yes you can burn HD DVD on DVD but limited to 30-40 minutes depends on bitrate. Google EvoDemux.
