I have a JVC DR-MX1.
VHS/HDD/DVD all in one.
After getting it back from JVC for the "loading" error, it works great.
The only problem is I want a larger hard drive.
I searched the internet, and can't find any reference to this.
I know people do it with their TiVo, so I hope there is a way to do this with the JVC unit.
Thanks,

Many of the DVD recorders with internal HDD's cannot be upgraded. There were designed to work with a specific size HDD. A few can be upgraded, but there is a limit on HDD size. I haven't seen any information of JVC units. TIVO units, on the other hand, are easily upgraded. It is a byproduct of how they were designed.
